Fleas can be lurking almost anywhere in or around your home. Once they start to lay their eggs, they work extremely quickly. Females lay 40-50 eggs per day on the host. They generally cause a simply itch for your pet, but they can also trigger a variety of diseases and other parasites. These include flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), anemia, tapeworms, or Rickettsiosis.

- Comfortis: an oral pill that kills fleas (dogs and cats)
- Frontline: a topical oil that prevents fleas and ticks (dogs and cats)
- Advantage: a topical oil that kills fleas and lice (dogs and cats)
