To provide you and your pets with the best possible care, we've recently undergone an extensive remodel adding many new features to our practice.
Three Additional Rooms
From the lobby, you can see two new rooms that were added so we can have more space to sit down privately with clients. We also remodeled Exam Room 3 by making it bigger and installing a new exam table, adding another exam room to decrease wait times in the lobby. These rooms themselves have been great additions, but the most exciting renovations have been in the back!

Post-Op Recovery Ward
One exciting addition is a thermoregulated Post-Op Ward located in our treatment area. The clear fiberglass doors allow for Dr. Burton and technicians to have constant visual contact with patients recovering from anesthesia, allowing for a fully monitored and safe recuperation. Animals have minimal control of their body temperature when coming out of anesthetic, so the warm room lets them wake up much faster and more comfortably.

Dental Suite
To provide improved dental care for our patients, we added two brand new 'wet tables' each equipped with its own anesthetic machine and a shared digital dental X-ray machine. This new suite allows for pets going under anesthesia to be isolated and therefore less stressed going into their procedures. Now that we have a separate space designated for dental procedures, all patients can be treated more quickly due to the increased space in our treatment floor.

Bair Hugger Warming Unit
Patients under anesthesia cannot regulate their body temperatures effectively. To decrease the risk of hypothermia in surgery patients, we have a Bair Hugger Warming Unit that we can lay patients either above or below, depending on the surgery. The machine blows a constant supply of warm air which keeps the patient at the proper temperature during their surgery, and enables them to wake up faster afterward.
